The Need to Teach Grammar in IELTS Listening Class

<p>The aim of this research is to examine the effect grammar mastery on listening skills. Does someone’s affect his skills? If it does, what extent? To answer these questions, data, in a form test answers were collected from students taking IELTS Preparatory Class. The Listening section consists several types questions including gap completion, matching and multiple choice questions. focus completion as require takers write down words/phrases/numbers answers; therefore, mistakes are noticeable if there any. Many find quite challenging they have complete blanks with word or phrase used conversation accurately terms both spelling grammar. Consequently, being able get right question important. researchers tried whether knowing some can improve takers’ possibility getting correct answers. finding show that students’ grammar, extent, has an their Knowing help grammatically As not learning most classes, recommended teachers select points should be addressed, certain degree, order comprehension accuracy.</p>
